Youth Scholarship

‚ÄčEach year the St. Paul USBC association awards two $1,000 scholarships to Youth bowlers in the St. Paul Area.
The backbone of this fundraising effort however, is our annual raffle drawing.  A book of six tickets will cost $25.00, meaning that the sixth ticket is free.  All tickets sold will go into the drawing, which will be held at the Hall of Fame Dinner on October 27, 2013 at the Prom Center.  $1,250.00 in cash prizes will be awarded, with the top prize of $500.00.  See a Junior bowler or Junior Bowling Coach for tickets.

Thank you to all that bought and sold the raffle tickets.

 

Also this year we are fund raising with Buffalo Wild Wings.  They will give back 10% of your bill to the St Paul Junior Bowlers.  All Junior Bowlers who sign up for a fall & winter league will get a card to take to Buffalo Wild Wings to show for the 10%.  There are some extra cards for adults too.  If you should happen to go without your card, just let the server konw you are with the St Paul Junior Bowlers, and they will make sure we get credit for your sale.  The stores that are participating in this fund raiser are:  West St Paul, Maplewood, Eagan, Oakdale, Roseville and Oak Park Heights.  Thanks for you support!

 

Food Drive

The St Paul Bowling USBC Association be holding its annual food drive the first two weeks of November for the Second harvest Food Shelf of St. Paul.
Donation cans will be passed out to each league during bowling at the lanes.
Please be generous as there is a great need for the less fortunate people in the community.

Previous seasons food drive have ranged between $ 3,500 and $7,000.

The St Paul USBC Association would like to give a big thank you to all the proprietors and the members of the association for their generous donations to the annual food drive.

Bowlers for Veterans Link

The St Paul USBC Association hold its annual BVL drive during the month of February.
Bowling centers will distribute association donation envelopes to your league secretary.
Secretaries will pass this envelope through your league.

Some of the worthwhile causes supported by your donations are:

  • Support of Minnesota National Guard on Active Duty
  • Servicemen’s Club at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport
  • Big Marine Vets Camp
  • Minnesota Stand-down
  • Fort Snelling Riflemen’s Squad
  • Minnesota Veteran’s Hospitals
  • National BVL fund
